(D) On January 6, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the Jammu Railway Division, which became the 69th division of the Northern Railway Zone. Now there are a total of 69 railway divisions and 17 zones in India.

(C) On January 8, 2025, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) made significant changes in top positions in the Finance Ministry, as part of the preparation of the Union Budget 2025. Now Tuhin Kanta Pandey will be the Secretary of the Revenue Department and Arunish Chawla will be the Secretary of the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM).
